ETC has been appointed as Red Hat's Alliance Training Partner since 3 months back. Our relationship has been been multifold - ETC takes up the role as our main training reseller in Adelaide and is currently our exclusive training facilities provider in Adelaide.
What has struck me most in the last 3 months is their enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment to excellence (and customers). Red Hat's training business is still very much in it's infancy in Adelaide - before we have found ETC (or them us!), we have had the odd occasional courses. Over the course of the 3 month, ETC has been very pro-active in working with us, coming up with marketing campaigns, going out of their way in a couple of time to do focused call outs to ensure that we had enough students to run a class so we did not have to disappoint those whom have signed up. In one particular instance, they were even in communications with the Red Hat team over the weekend - unusual commitment from so new a partner.
Over the last month especially, I have seen a high percentage of increase in registrations in the Adelaide market, clear evidence of market interest and this is due in no small part to the ETC team.
I have also had a couple of my senior consultants from my team visit to conduct training in ETC and the feedback they have given me is consistently brilliant, including how ETC has gone the extra mile to ensure that the projector was great and not just good, following up on a remark from one of the instructors. In the training industry, it is precisely attention to details as such that differentiates and contributes to customer satisfaction. Dean Samuels, Principal Consultant whom has been with Red Hat for over half a decade tells me that this is by far the best training facility that we have had the pleasure to work with. Naturally, we have also had excellent customer feedback with regards to their experience at ETC, with ETC.
Overall, this is one of the partners that we envisage will be invaluable to the growth of Linux in Adelaide/Australia.
